YOUTH TRAINER – GENERAL

We are an innovative and exciting organisation who INSPIRE young people aged 15-25 across Scotland to realise their potential and we are looking for someone who shares our passion and commitment to achieve this through delivery of a variety of vocational and employability themed programmes.

This is a full time (35hrs per week) role and the successful applicant will have an enthusiasm for inspiring the next generation – ideally with experience of a fitness related subject (such as boxing or cycling) , mechanics or prior experience in delivering training and support to young people. Full training will be provided!

Main duties and responsibilities:

The Individual

This will be a challenging role and you will, therefore need to be enthusiastic and committed to working with young people, supporting them as they deal with a range of issues and helping them to successfully move into positive destinations and achieve better outcomes. We need someone with a “can do” attitude and a willingness to develop their own skills but also the ability to train young people in such skills.
