LINKnet Mentoring Ltd is the first and the only direct mentoring organisation that is established to serve minority ethnic communities in Edinburgh, the Lothians, Scottish Borders and Fife. It was established in 2000 to serve disadvantaged ethnic minorities in their pursuit of development. Over the years thousands have taken part in various mentoring programmes, education and employment mentoring being the core programme.

This service offers limitless opportunity to those who need one to one support to find a job, get a place at College/ University or for personal development. Our experienced and qualified mentors will support you to achieve your desired goal. We invite all
minority ethnic people who require support to take advantage of this free but valuable service. The project is funded by the Scottish Government’s Promoting Equality and Cohesion Fund, Adult Learning and Empowering Communities Fund and the city of Edinburgh Council’s Employability Third Party Grants Fund.
Once you join LINKnet’s mentoring service as a mentee, you will be assigned an expert mentor who will assist you with your job hunting. You can also seek help to get into further/ higher education and to improve English language skills.
If you are from any minority ethnic background you can benefit from their personally tailored support to achieve your desired goal free of charge.
