Pentland Coffee Co is a new business based next to the Pentland Hills just outside Edinburgh. The business will be based from a converted horse box, with a Wega coffee machine running on LPG and battery. The business will focus on quality coffee (Santu) and quality snacks. These will be all freshly delivered ready to sell, so currently no food prep will be required.
The business is going to be a one person operation, open 7 days a week and we require 2 or 3 people to cover this, with 1 person full time (5 days a week) with potential for another 1 or 2 to cover the other 2 days. The days of the week for the full time position would be flexible. Opening hours will be 7am – 3 pm.
This would suit someone with drive and interest in developing a new business. The tasks will include set up / close each day as well as usual tasks associated with running a small business of this nature. Barista training can be provided, but experience in customer facing roles is essential.
The main role will be covering general management of the business, paid at the living wage, with a bonus structure. The part time roles will be at the living wage.
Given the business location, a driving licence and own transport would be essential.
