How to ensure your business and employees benefit from flexible working

The COVID-19 pandemic has created a shift from office-based working to remote and flexible working across numerous businesses and with it looking set to continue, how do you ensure the best from and for your employees?

Over the past 9 months businesses and organisations have reported remote working productivity benefits, and research informs us that, in Scotland, ‘three quarters of working people want flexible working’ and that 90% of workers in Scotland say that ‘flexible working is as important, if not more important, than salary’.

As this model is set to become part of our ‘new normal’, it is imperative that businesses have a remote working policy that links to their business strategy and prioritises employee wellbeing.

Business Gateway has two online tutorials that will help you develop your own sustainable flexible working plan as the ability to be agile becomes critical to business recovery and growth in 2021.
