B.O.S.S. Garden Rooms

Launched in June 2020, B.O.S.S. Garden Rooms design and create bespoke pods for multiple uses in garden spaces. These pods can give extra space, a covered, watertight, permanent structure in gardens and an escape for those that need it.

Working with Business Gateway Midlothian a Business Plan took shape and their adviser provided  support and advice on premises and potential funding.

Business Gateway Midlothian connected the team at B.O.S.S. Garden Rooms with Crowdfunder UK support officer Emmi who quickly helped them develop their project ready for launch. This is their first crowdfunding project as they plan to donate the first garden pod, with support from the crowdfunding community to provide a new garden visiting pod for Archview Lodge Care Home, Dalkeith. This will allow families to be reunited with loved ones who have been under strict isolation since the beginning of COVID-19 lockdown. A wonderful thought from this hard working team who are keen to help their local community get back on its feet after a tough few months.

B.O.S.S. Garden Rooms co-founder Willam Horsburgh said ‘The support Business Gateway Midlothian provided was invaluable. They suggested that Crowdfunding would be a great way for us to build our first garden pod and, as we wanted to give back to our local community, it came at just the right time.

'We’re hoping to have the pod at Archview Lodge Care Home, Dalkeith ready by mid-August and our unique, bespoke pods in a garden near you very soon!’
