BaLiSIliconeMouldsBali Silicone Moulds is an innovative Midlothian business offering high-quality silicone moulds to create unique wax melts, soaps and resins at home.

What started as a lockdown project to keep the family occupied, quickly turned into a full-time business after spotting an opportunity to create personalised moulds for craft projects. Beginning as a side hustle, Bali Silicone Moulds has now grown and become such a success that Linzi is now running her business full-time, creating her own unique, personalised designs for both individuals and businesses.  

Business Gateway Midlothian and Midlothian Economic Development support provided: 

  • Accessed free Business Gateway Midlothian start up support with guidance on finance, marketing, legal requirements and business planning  
  • Successfully awarded Business Gateway Midlothian’s Start-up Grant which allowed Linzi to purchase her own equipment instead of relying on external manufacture increasing the range of products  
  • Participated in the Learn Ecommerce Expert Help programme, resulting in a new website with clear structure, better UX and reliable payment options resulting in transformative sales, regular expansion opportunities and a more reliable website for customers
