Community Benefits in Midlothian – how your business can support worthwhile causes in Midlothian
Businesses in Midlothian can support local charities, social enterprises and third sector organisations by offering Community Benefits, such as donating time, skills and equipment, to help improve their communities.
What Are Community Benefits?
Community Benefits are contributions made by businesses to improve the welfare and wellbeing of their local community. These vary depending on the needs of the organisation and can be goods, works, services or monetary donations.
Offering community benefits can raise the visibility of your business, create meaningful local private/social partnerships and make a real difference to the people in the community that your business operates in. Limited companies can also offset the cost of donations to pay less Corporation Tax .
You can discover more of the benefits that Community Benefits can bring businesses in our previous article.
