Eat Out To Help Out in Midlothian
This week the Government launched their Eat Out To Help Out campaign with a number of businesses across Midlothian taking part.
The scheme runs from Monday 3rd August – Monday 31st August, offering diners a 50% discount when they eat in at registered restaurants.
The Eat Out To Help Out scheme is available at participating restaurants and gives the following:
- a 50% discount on food or non-alcoholic drinks to eat or drink in (up to a maximum of £10 discount per diner)
Diners can use the scheme as follows:
- every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday between 3rd and 31st August
- as many times as you like
- in a group of any size
Midlothian has a number of establishments participating in the Eat Out To Help Out scheme, a fantastic opportunity to try some of these brilliant local restaurants, cafés and pubs at an amazing price!

If you’re a local business offering the Eat Out To Help Out scheme and would like to be added to the list let us know and we’ll spread the great news.
You do not need a voucher to use this scheme and you can use it at the same time as other offers and discounts. There is no minimum spend.
You cannot claim discount on alcoholic drinks or service charges.
The discount will be automatically available to you at participating establishments. Establishments will then claim a reimbursement from the government for the discount they’ve given you.
