The Environmental Placement Programme
Bright Green Business
Bright Green Business is the number one provider for Environmental Placements.
Due to the climate emergency and the growing demand of a greener economy more businesses are looking for ways to improve their environmental credentials.
The Environmental Placement Programme (EPP) offers flexibility to help companies based in Scotland source high calibre students or graduates to work on projects, ranging from environmental management and carbon behaviour strategies to active travel, waste management, community engagement, policies, marketing and web design. This can help you to get a job done quickly, and the placement could be for as little as 8 weeks, either full time or part-time.
Organisations pay £440.00 per week. The price includes a Scottish Living Wage allowance, paid directly to the candidate, and covers all of the EPP recruitment services including advertising, shortlisting, contracts and payroll. EPP is perfect for organisations that don't yet have the time, resources, or money to hire someone new permanently.
Organisations from any sector across Scotland can apply. If you are looking to boost your green credentials, meet Government net-zero climate targets and boost your reputation then we are here to help drive an environmental project.
If you are a student or graduate, then you need to have graduated within the last three years and meet the requirements stated in the job description.
Organisations can contact Rachel McCaw, Business Manager, to state your Interest. Rachel will then send you a job descriptor form to start the recruitment process.
Students/Graduates: Visit the ‘opportunities’ section on the Bright Green Business website. You will need to ‘Register’ to submit your CV.
