What we do? Dalkeith Country Park is a truly special place. Just a few miles from Edinburgh, it’s home to Fort Douglas adventure playground and Restoration Yard, set in a beautiful 1,000-acre country estate. With over 300 years of history, a 700-year-old oak wood and miles of waymarked trails, visitors can enjoy exploring the park before a delicious meal in our restaurant, The Kitchen, or a browse around our wonderfully eclectic retail store.
The role? Working with our dynamic and forward thinking security team, you will work on an “as and when required” basis to provide cover during holidays, absences and busy periods. With responsibility for ensuring the highest level of protection of our company assets and people, you will be actively involved in the detection and prevention of crime while maintaining accurate records in line with company policy. Shifts could be day shift or night shift in line with business needs.
The person? We are looking for a professional and customer focused Security Officer who demonstrates excellent communication and teamworking skills. You should be a competent IT user with an understanding of security technology and have a full UK driving licence. Candidates must have relevant security experience and hold a SIA front line and CCTV licence.
