Kickstart Job Roles Available in Midlothian
A number of administration roles are currently available across Midlothian as part of the Kickstart Scheme.
What is the Kickstart Scheme?
The Kickstart Scheme helps Young People who are currently claiming Universal Credit or are at risk of long-term unemployment get back to work.
Employers of all sizes can apply for funding until midday on 17 December 2021 which covers:
- 100% of the National Minimum Wage (or the National Living Wage depending on the age of the participant) for 25 hours per week for a total of 6 months
- associated employer National Insurance contributions
- minimum automatic enrolment pension contributions
How to apply for a Kickstart job
Kickstart job roles are open to young people aged 16 – 24 who are claiming Universal Credit. To apply for a Kickstart role you need to sign in to your Universal Credit account and send a journal message to your work coach, telling them which job you would like to apply for. The reference you need for the job you are interested in is available by clicking ‘apply now’ on the DWP job advert.
