Midlothian Ranger Service

The festival is organised by Midlothian Ranger Service with event leaders, partners and volunteers devising great routes and entertainment to bring Midlothian’s beautiful countryside to you.

Walks during Midlothian Outdoor Festival

Whether you want a leisurely stroll in the countryside, fancy discovering some of Midlothian’s history on foot or want to meet new people and get some fresh air, there are a range of walks for all ages and abilities at Midothian’s Outdoor Festival 2022.

For walks please arrive 10 minutes before the walk starts. You must bring waterproofs and have suitable footwear and outdoor clothing. If the walk is during lunchtime, bring a packed lunch and a drink. Walks may end half an hour earlier or later than advertised.

Please be considerate and if you are not able to attend an event you have booked, let the organiser know.
