Good communication is essential for delivering high-quality services. Najo Consulting helps organisations improve the way they communicate by reviewing policies, reports, websites, public information and other documents to ensure they are written in plain English and accessible to a wide range of audiences.

About the Consultant: Najo Consulting is led by Shanaz Yousaf, an experienced public health professional with more than 20 years’ experience working across the NHS, police, local government, Integrated Care Systems, Fire & Rescue Services, private and the voluntary sector. Shanaz holds a Master of Public Health (MPH), a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health (Health Promotion), a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and a Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training (CET). She has additional professional qualifications and experience in research and evaluation, behaviour change, counselling skills, community engagement and participatory approaches.
Her work is underpinned by a passion for reducing health inequalities, improving communication, supporting workforce wellbeing and helping organisations deliver services that are inclusive, evidence-based and centred on the needs of the people they serve.
