One Dalkeith is a volunteer-led charity where local people give up their spare time to make One Dalkeith happen.
One Dalkeith is run and owned by the local community for the local community. It was created following extensive community consultations and established as a Community Development Trust and Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) in 2017. Through these consultations, the local community set out its vision, mission and aims to improve and enhance local community life.
The One Dalkeith Community & Business Hub has a seasonal programme of community-led activities, events, workshops, and classes, as well as business and community facilities which can be hired for use, such as our business incubators, hot desk co-working space, meeting rooms and larger spaces for events.
In addition to the facilities available for hire, One Dalkeith is home to The Corner Shop Collective (opening Spring 2024), a stylish boutique of local crafters, makers, artists, producers and small businesses, and a space where retailers can share their loyal customer bases.
One Dalkeith have signed up to the Midlothian Business Green Pledge showing their support to operating in an environmentally friendly way.
