Midlothian as a participant in the VisitScotland Sustainable Destination Development Programme invites you to join a collaborative workshop to help shape the future of Midlothian’s visitor economy. 

 

As Midlothian develops its new Tourism Strategy for Inclusive Economic Growth, this workshop will bring together businesses, community organisations, public sector partners and other stakeholders to explore how we can work together to deliver a more sustainable, inclusive, and resilient visitor economy.

 

Rather than a traditional presentation, this will be an interactive session facilitated by GDS-Movement where participants will have the opportunity to:

  • learn more about Midlothian’s tourism strategy and sustainable destination ambitions
  • share examples of work already happening across the destination
  • identify opportunities for greater collaboration
  • help shape practical actions that can support delivery over the coming months and years
  • contribute ideas on how success can be measured and shared

 

Whether you work in tourism, transport, culture, heritage, community development, climate, business support or another area that contributes to Midlothian as a place to live, work and visit, your perspective is valued.
