Midlothian Tourism Survey - Alpine Coaster Tickets Competition T&Cs

  • Eligibility: The prize draw is open to individuals, aged 18 years or older, who complete the Midlothian Visitor Survey and provide a valid email address for entry. Only one entry per person is permitted.
  • Entry Period: The survey and prize draw will be open from 24/03/2025 to 11.59pm 25/04/2025. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.
  • Prize: The prize winner will receive free Alpine Coaster rides for up to four people. If the prize winner’s family consists of five members, we will aim to accommodate this, subject to availability. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or an alternative prize.
  • Prize Winner Selection & Notification: The prize winner will be chosen at random from all eligible entries. The prize winner will be contacted via the email provided within 7 days of the draw closing. If the prize winner fails to respond and claim their prize within 14 days, the Organiser reserves the right to pick another prize winner at random from the remaining entries.
  • Booking & Availability: The prize must be redeemed within 12 months from notification of winning. Bookings are subject to availability.
  • Data Protection: Email addresses provided for entry will only be used for the purposes of running the prize draw and will not be linked to survey responses. By entering this prize draw, all entrants consent to the use of their personal data by the Organiser for the purposes of the administration of this prize draw. All personal data will be handled in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 and associated laws. All personal data shall be deleted after the prize winner has been confirmed.
  • Marketing & Publicity: Prize winners agree to have their name and photo included in in promotional activities related to the prize draw.
  • General: The Organiser reserve the right to amend or withdraw the competition at any time without notice. Any disputes will be resolved at the discretion of Midlothian Council.
  • By entering into the prize draw, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
