Vogrie Pogrie’s family festival is back!

Vogrie Pogrie is back from the 16th – 18th September 2022 with a FREE celebratory weekend of innovative open air performance and creative happenings in the beautiful setting of Vogrie Country Park.

Vogrie Pogrie 2022 flyerAfter the success of last year’s inaugural festival, the team behind Vogrie Pogrie are back with their community focused weekend event in Midlothian, bringing with them a host of creative, unique and family friendly shows, performances, installations and crafts.

Bob’s Blundabus, The Magical Spiegelyurt and the Bam Jam Marquee will be nestled amongst the trees and parkland of the beautiful Vogrie Country Park offering FREE activities for all attendees each day and evening cabaret and campfire sessions.

Weekend Camping

If you want to immerse yourself in everything Vogrie Pogrie festival has to offer, you can pitch your tent or roll up in your campervan to enjoy the whole weekend while camping under the stars.

The rest of the Vogrie Pogrie festival is FREE for all attendees with the opportunity to contribute to the Friday campfire session or the Saturday evening cabaret.

Community Callout

Vogrie Pogrie have a range of opportunities for the local community and groups to get involved. From available performance slots for local music and dance groups to stalls in the community marketplace for groups of all kinds, there’s plenty for your local group to get involved with.

Transport

The festival will provide a free bus service to Vogrie Pogrie for members of the community who don’t have access to private transport. In order to do this the organisers are looking for local drivers who would like to help.

In exchange for committing to a day of driving over the festival weekend you will receive free MiDAS training which is valid for 4 years. The MiDAS training will allow you to access Lothian Community Transport Services minibuses on behalf of your community group or organisation with training taking place on Saturday the 27th of August. Vogrie Country Park

Vogrie Country Park, near Gorebridge, has 105 hectares of woods and Victorian parkland including an 1876 Victorian mansion – part of which is open to the public – a nine-hole golf course, miniature railway, woodland walks, adventure playground and an excellent cafeteria. Parking is available onsite for £2 per vehicle.

Vogrie Pogrie is a FREE, unticketed festival for day and evening visitors, only those camping need to secure their spot for £25 per person.
